Meet and Greet - Wyndham Grand Desert

Picture
Our meet and greet was simple.  My family owns a timeshare with Wyndham so we invited everyone to our two bedrom suites.  It was a bit crowded but we had more than one suites so we could have spread out if we wanted too but everyone just stayed in one suite.

For the food, I ordered two extra large pizzas from Papa John's (my favorite).  I also ordered the BBQ Blowout from Famous Dave's.  There was probably 25 of us.  The food was more than enough.  Overall, I spent $250 for the bbq and pizza.  We bought paper plates, drinks, etc. from a Von's nearby.

I was late in preparing everything.  I wanted to start at 6 pm, but ended up starting at 7:30 pm.  It was the first time my family and his family officially met.  I didn't get a chance to do introductions though cuz I was still out getting food when my in-laws came, so hopefully my mom was able to introduce everyone to each other.

Original plan was to have the meet and greet at a Panorama suite in Planet Hollywood but we decided the extra $800 a night wasn't worth it.  The great thing about Wyndham is that they have a kitchen (refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, microwave, plus glasses and cooking utensils) in each suite.  It was very convenient to heat up food and also to store leftovers for later.
